State Senate passes bill on privacy for download purchases
SACRAMENTO — By one vote, the state Senate on Thursday passed a bill by Sen. Hannah-Beth Jackson, D-Santa Barbara, that will extend existing privacy protections for people making credit card purchases to those who buy downloadable products online.
